Heat vs Celtics
The series against the Boston Celtics is going to be a test for the Miami Heat. The series kicks of today for game one in Miami at 3:30 on ABC. The experts predict that Miami will win by 5 points or more against the Boston Celtics. Now tune in to ABC and watch Miami turn up the heat agaisnt Boston.
Playstation Hack
Sony will have its playstation network turned back on within a week, they are going to offer their customers free downloads. After the system hack, it is said that over 7 million accounts, and credit cards have been taken by the hackers. Sony is allowing their user to get free downloads, and free a 30 day pass for Playstation plus premium service for the inconvenience.

ECSU Student Show
Bring some excitement into your life this April during the Eastern Connecticut State University Student Show Art Exhibition. The student show will take place in Willimantic Connecticut, at Eastern Connecticut State University in the Student Center. It will take place from April 16 through May 28, 2011.
Students have been working hard all year, and finally get a chance to show off their work. This is an event that you won’t want to miss. The show will display all of the student’s top artwork in the student center. The public is invited to the lobby of the Student Center to view the student’s artwork and vote for their favorites. The artist with the top votes will win a gift card to the apple store. Come on down for the 2011 Student Show at Eastern Connecticut State University it will be a night to remember.

Ipad 2
The other day my friend bought an Ipad 2. After using the Ipad for several hours I considered purchasing one. The Ipad 2 is amazing it has two cameras, one on the front of the Ipad, and one on the back. The cameras are cable of recording in HD video, and facetime. The ipad has an amazing 10 hour batter life, and has a thinner and lighter design than the original ipad. If your are considering purchasing an Ipad check them out at apple.com, they start at $499.

Spring break trip to Panama City Beach
For Spring Break 2011 my friends and I decided to go to Panama City Beach in Florida. The trip was a blast, the entire week was 80 degrees, and sunny. Next year if you’re looking for a place to go for spring break for a reasonable price, go to Panama City beach in Florida, and you will have a great time.

Wadsworth Antheneum
I went to the Wadsworth Antheneum on Saturday for one of my classes. I enjoyed visiting the museum even though I have been to the Wadsworth several times. The museum is always filled with new, and amazing artwork. The Wadsworth is Americas oldest public art museum and if you have never visited the museum I suggest you check it out!
Uconn defeats Kentucky
Last night the Uconn Huskies beat the Kentucky Wildcats 56-55 in the final four. Uconn now advances to the National Championship game against Butler at 9:00pm Monday.

DP Dough for Calzones
The other day my roommates, and I decided to take a trip up to Uconn, and we stopped at DP Dough to try their calzones. I decided to get the BBQ steak calzone, and it was one of the best calzones I’ve had in a long time. If you’re around Uconn stop at DP Dough and try a calzone, and you won’t be disappointed!
Apple Iphone 4
The other day I went out and purchased the Apple iphone 4. This phone is absolutely amazing, you can do just about anything on this phone. The new iphone features allow users to multitask, record HD video, and to video call. If you have Att or Verizon and you don’t have the iphone I would suggest you get one!
Huskies are the 2011 Big East Champions
My favorite college basketball team, the Uconn Huskies are the 2011 Big East champions. They beat the Louisville Cardinals on Saturday at Madison Square garden. The final score of the game was 69-66, Kemba Walker lead the Huskies with 19 points, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 2 rebounds.

This video is a performance that the Pretty Boiiz had in New Haven Connecticut at Toads place, and of a photo shoot that they had in New York for ROC NATION WHOS NEXT. I partly shot this video for the Pretty Boiiz. I recorded all the video content of them performing.
The duo, comprised of Rocky and J. Rez focus on bringing fun back to music. Melo to the Knicks
One of my favorite basketball players Carmelo Anthony, got drafted to the New York Knicks last week. Carmelo a Brooklyn native, a former student of Syracuse has been in the NBA for 7 years, he averages 25.3 points a game, and is sure to be a key component to the knicks success in the future. Tonight the Knicks host the Hornets, and Carmelo will be playing to his full potential, as the Knicks strive to beat the Hornets tonight.

Michael Mariano is a resident of Middletown, Connecticut and is a senior at Eastern Connecticut State University. He is majoring in Visual Arts, with a concentration in Digital Art & Design. He choose to major in Visual arts because he has a strong passion for design, and photography. He is currently working at a used car dealership in Hartford Connecticut, for about a year now. Michael will be graduating in May 2011, after graduation he plans on opening his own business, and moving to the city.
